My AARP Experience

My husband when he was alive took out a membership for AARP when he was fifty. He added me on to the membership because he could. He joined for discounts you get with AARP  nothing else. AARP revolved into an insurance company but he choose to use another company such as USAA.

I am setting the history with this company with me.

VwtRmq9_.png (512×512)Jordan pasted away in 2003 and at the time I was 53 and was granted widows Social Security and after 2 years on the SS I would be in entitled to Medicare, Meanwhile I was told by veterans affairs that I was not entitled to Veterans benefits even though he was in the Koran war, I moved on and when I got my card for Social Security I saw ads on TV that if you have this card you can get our insurance with AARP's United Health Care. So I called and they told me I have to be 62 and older... that is a lie! I was allowed ( Bless their souls) to get a prescription drug plan that was $19. and then told Oh you can get extra help. All you need to do was apply. So I did. and got it.

I moved from Florida back to Pennsylvania since I could not live in Florida anymore since my husbands memories of his death was all over the home. Big Mistake.! The Governor of Pennsylvania was a crazy man Corbit and said all help for those getting money from the Federal Government were not entitled so he stopped programs, made it hard for seniors to live in Pennsylvania, raised taxes on Seniors and many lost their homes because of his taxes. He didn't care because he was not paying into social security didn't have to worry about a limited income and gets a pension that the Tax payers have to pay for the rest of his and his wife's life, This pension is equal to a full time job that is over $30,000. Plus his full medical benefits plus if anyone wants to hear him speaking engagements. He gets free dinners since he's the "Governor". So all your taxes including the taxing of a Tax we already paid for Social Security is being taxed again.

In Florida after I fought AARP , quoted Laws I got my social security United Health care passport PPO, Like I said above I moved to Pennsylvania and found I could not use this passport nor would United Health Care let me out of the remaining time. I had o wait for open enrollment and switched to Humana that had something like what I had in  Florida only the doctors they had in their network sucked or I could not pronounce their names and could not understand their Arabic English and they insisted being a Jew I was profiled that my family was from Europe and not from Cairo. In 1844 there was a blood libel against the Jews of Cairo and this was repeated in 1881 and in 1901–1902. My Grandmother and her husband walked from Cairo to Spain to take a Ferry to the UK for a ship to the USA where she sat in Ellis Island for 14 days with little food and water.  So going to a Muslim doctor was not pleasant and I ended paying outside of the network sort of better doctors who really sucked from the Hershey Medical Center Hospital.

Things happened and I decided to move back to Florida. Before I did I got a prescription AARP insurance and told them to take the payment out of the Social Security so I wont have to worry about payment. Everyone on SS does this. I forgot I had extra help even though I fought Corbit administration for it. Every year I had to refile. My move turned off the Extra help but my SS would still pay for it. When I found an apartment in April, I called AARP, Unitied Health Care Social Security and Medicare.. Covered my backside, I didnt hear anything from AARP nor did I hear anything from United Health Care. I called again and again and again trying to fix my address. They still had the old address an PO Box because of my stalker who is crazy and was finally arrested Janice Wolk .Grenadier. I found a doctor I really liked and called a few companies on the phone to see if he was in their network One had him and it was United Health Care so I decided to reuse them. January was the first day BUT I decided to move to another place that was bigger then I was renting and in another county, In the meanwhile the open enrollment closed and I got a letter dated December 11,2015 saying we are not going to insure you because you owe us $99.00.

Here I thought that the Medicare was paying I called the rude Customer Service of both AARP and United Health Care. UHC told me I was trying to steal insurance from them. I was theif, AARP said I cursed when I used the word "DAMN" Maybe damn is a curse word in "Christian" Values but in Jewish Values it's not. I was hung up on by a "Christian" for her "Values" violating my 1st amendment rights. If AARP has words that members can not say then they should list them in the membership bylaws not give their good duers the right to hang up on you because they personally find it offensive when the rest of the world doesnt. They most likely hate Gay Marriages even though that is the law of the land and hang up on them.because of their "Values"

To make a long story short after 6 hours of fighting calling and DAMN Frustrated, I called Social Security found out they UNITED HEALTH CARE decided NOT TO BILL MEDICARE and it was their fault not mine. They were going to punish me for this and my move. And once I changed my address with Social Security my prescription insuance stopped. and I had he right to change or not have one. I should never been billed since I called them over and over again.

I am not rejoining AARP or ever using United Health Care. I filed a report with the Medicare and Social Security... Plus I refiled for extra help.
