Bad Bad BAD Post office and their policies! UpDate!

I moved from up north to down home in the deep south. I decided not to buy a home but rent. When I moved here I opened a PO Box. I had it one month and no mail even though I placed a forwarding address.I was expecting books and according to the tracking it was suppose to be delivered to the PO Box. But it wasn't in the box. So I waited to the next day and guess what not there. So I went into the Post office and asked to have it found. They had me wait for 2 hours and when I went back up to the desk I asked them politely where is my package to the same person and he yelled at me " I  told you I don't know.  You have to wait." I said let me talk to your supervisor  She's at a meeting. How could she be at a meeting when I see her sitting in the back hiding. There is no Postmaster there either because they are in another building. These nasty postal service workers have the run and the authority because they have no one there for a check and balance. Finally with my big mouth I got the package closed my PO Box and went to Pak Mail open another PO Box there.  postal-service.jpg (386×335)

My Big Mistake was closing the Pak Mail  box and trusting the postal system again when I moved into my apartment. I had a problem getting my mail for my electric, phone and internet/TV.... You have not lived until you had all turned off at the same time and you are expecting company. That happened to me 3 weeks after I moved in when the Postal carrier sent back my mail stating I am not there. I ended up paying all at the friendly bill service which charged me $40 to pay all my bills and my service was restored, I of course called and was given all kinds of Bull Shit excuses why this happened but the best one, it was my fault not theirs.

Three weeks ago a neighbor living upstairs moved out .. My Mail was stuffed with unasked for crap such as Food Market advertisements with no address and flyer crap. The Post office became a delivery source for coupon since they no longer are doing the business they used to, raised the prices of a stamp yet alone poor service to boot.  I signed a form not to deliver this spam mail Thinking that this problem was solved I got 10 times more spam mail which stuffed up my mail box. It is bad enough I have to deal with the dog shit in front of my apartment  that  I can not open my screen door to sit outside but now I am dealing with absolute morons at the post office again. And then there was silence. No Spam Mail for a week. BUT I also didn't get my regular bills or checks for writing for the German Daily press or my medication I get in the mail sent to me every 90 days. Not to mention my dog Baby 15 years old who needs her medication. Everything was sent back to sender?  Why is a mystery to the post office but a person with some common sense could figure out why. 3rd week I had in my mail box that my apartment was vacant and no one lives here.... I was told I sent in a moved card,,,, no I still am here and paying the rent. My landlord is paid every 1st of the month and then there is the illogical logic of the U S Postal System who claims they are not part of the government. . The postal workers... the Clifford C "Cliff" Clavin, Jr of the world claim even though they get treasury paychecks are not public servants. If not does that make them independent contractors? Lets see if they are..

I called Washington DC to the Secretary of the Postal Inspector which is part of POTUS. They said they were public servants. So far so good. I called the Inspector Generals office They said they were public servants. So where does it start that the US Postal Service are now a private contractors delivering the United States mail? The only mail recognized as official service in all 50  states and Official Service with the IRS, Congress and the Senate as well as attorney's.

It starts with the postal carries . They  are seen with their shirt tails hanging out , dirty finger nails and shabby looking haircuts. Not professional looking, But they drive GI ( government issued) cars and to me it say USA government... And the USA government insures these issued cars. Then we need to buy stamps. That stamps are a TAX no matter how you look at it. King George used stamps as taxes on beer, wine, tea and whiskey not to mention your stamp tax on your home when you buy it. So the definition of a stamp is tax with the post office. A communication tax the government has issued. Not to mention that the stamp tax is taxation without representation. You pay for a service you are not getting and at the same time you are insulted for FREE  Geee Gosh what a bargain.

Now the sales people or the desk postal workers. You walk up to them they weigh your mail and then tell you the good news you underpaid buy an ounce. So you reach in your pocket and your package is stamped fragile and you pay those few cents you owe. These workers pick up that fragile package and throw it into a bin and shout score! Meanwhile you look at them and say This is a government agency and you throw this package that is marked fragile. They look at you with that dirty shirt they haven't washed in a week or more and it stinks say Post Office is not part of the United States Government . We are an independent working agency.... Ahhh the free agent the independent contractor. Somehow DC hasn't told them the truth that they are PUBLIC SERVANTS in a job working for the United States government.

Now back to my story. Because I signed a paper stating no junk spam mail I was told that the advertisement is bulk mail with my name on it. I looked at the flyers none of the flyers had my name on it or my new name resident. ( I understand everyone now has that name so it's legal for the Post Office to place trash in your mail box) But the no name flyers are questionable. I asked 10 postal customer no service employees if that flyer does not have your name on it is it mail? They read from a script That if the postal carrier places it in your box it is your responsibility. So my next question is if you consider it mail and I write on it return to sender do you return it?  After all it's mail according to you. They said if I place this spam mail in the mail box I am committing a crime of spamming the post office and placing trash into the out going mail box.  So it is okay for me to take the trash the post office delivers but to send this trash back to the sender is a crime. As well as the Post Office can act as rudely as they wish throw your mail away, send your packages back without notice that is not a crime but don't place the garbage they place in your box back in theirs. That is a crime.

I called Representative Grayson's office on the phone since my mail was stolen by the post office and and they refused to return it. I was told by one postal supervisor "you are not going have your mail delivered and go Fuck Yourself" That is very professional. Since this is a Federal Issue but the post office is denying it is I feel an investigation should begin into why my rights the right to get my mail and pay my bills and get my medication which falls under the 1st  amendment has been removed because a mail carrier shoves garbage into my box.

The staff at Congressman Graysons office was wonderful. And here I was going to go back into politics and run against him but I see he is a keeper. Maybe I'll run for Senator instead,

After I called Graysons office I got a call from the customers advocate of the post office... Hummm word travels fast  and suddenly as of tomorrow my mail will be delivered. Magical Pixie Dust. But that doesn't solve the problem of my missing mail or how I was treated and still treated poorly when the post office was wrong. Who knows  I may be going to DC to testify!
