A Pennsylvania congressman said he's switching his stance and no longer supports a bill to reopen the federal government without strings attached.
U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta said Tuesday he now believes the best chance to win congressional approval of a government funding bill is attach a provision repealing a medical devices tax that was in the sweeping 2010 health care law. House Republican leaders have insisted that the price to keep the federal government funded and operating is to scale back President Barack Obama's signature health care law.

Before the Oct. 1 shutdown, Barletta voted with GOP leaders on bills to scale back elements of the law. Then he joined four other Pennsylvania Republicans last week in breaking party ranks and saying he's support a budget bill without strings attached.

Lou Barletta Leads the fight to end food stamps by cutting them down .BUT he voted for unlimited spending for the government. BUT he voted for no Obamacare for himself , his family and his staff.
So What this doesn't affect him.. Barletta thinks children, the elderly and the disabled are getting rich off of $200 a month in food stamps. Even though the Governor of Pa discontinued the Emergency Funds ($200 a month) which you have to payback to the Commonwealth after you receive your get Social Security Disability which takes 18 or more months for a hearing. Most people end up on the streets and die before they ever see that money.
My question to Lou Barletta is can you live off $200 a months . Food Stamps were cut down to $185 a month and I am sure those people who had strokes, heart attacks and are 69 on social security will be able to live off of that with the heating bills, the medical bills, the medications and real estate taxes Real Estate Taxes have doubles and no homestead for widows who only get $1,190 in Social Security and out of that they have to pay the new mandatory health insurance (ObamaCare). The food has doubled in price and a loaf of bread that was $.75 is now $1.50 day old. According to Barletta everyone on food stamps are all going to get rich. Food Stamps wont even pay for dog food which many of the elderly eat for meat. I guess they are now going to be in competition with Honey Boo Boo for road kill Thanks to Lou Barletta and company
But Jessie Jackson Jr., a millionaire got his disability right after he applied. Something is very wrong with this system.
So now Lou Barletta and his friends are at war with the children ,the disabled and the elderly of Pennsylvania . Good job Lou! Starve the people of Pennsylvania. If you haven't noticed Pennsylvania is a very depressed state with a high unemployment rate,
A List of Pennsylvania Congress people who have no compassion and refuse to represent their constituents in time of need.
